WCT’s Services are designed to provide a turnkey solution to the IT needs of a modern organisation, from the point of planning to implementation to pro-active services, where recovery services are required in the event of a disaster.

The services provided range from basic repairs and maintenance to outsource services to complex consulting services.

Outsourcing Services - A range of services from basic maintenance to help desk to staff outsoucing which allow your organisation to maintain and develop our IT capabilities, allowing you to focus on your business.

Networking - WCT has certified engineers to plan, implement and manage your LAN or WAN network. Services range from cabling, to supply and installation of equipment, to installing software suites, to configuring the network and security policies, to setting up a range of e-mail systems, to implementing back up and Disaster Recovery procedures, to managing telecoms on the LAN and PABX system.

Upgrades and Repairs - Through our fully equipped workshop and qualified hardware and software engineers, WCT provides services and spare parts to allow you to upgrade ro repair your equipment. Servicing can be at our workshop site or at your site.

IT Finance and Leasing - Where you do not want ownership or the investment in equipment we help you to locate Financing arrangements for your IT needs; or we can lease you equipment on a short term or long term, back to back with our support services.

Internet Services - Due to our constant requirement in managing internet and connections, WCT can provide you with invaluable experience in selecting the best Internet provider, be it communications, hosting or web design. WCT manages the whole process to the point of setting up mail services and servers.

IT Management - Where clients already have IT staff, sometimes it is necessary to perform an audit of the function as an internal review. WCT has vast experience within this area due to teh fact that we have to work with a variety of corporate policies and procedures. With this experience we can advise on how your IT department should operate and the functions that should be performed.

We perform this function in 2 ways. One, as a training day or two, as a more indepth study. Whichever, our clients get an insite as to how the department shoudl be run, allowing them to decide what suites their micro business environment, and corporate culture.

Asset Recovery - Our service involves uninstalling old equipment, performing an electronic capture and asset check of hardware, security formatting the hard drives, internal and external cleaning of the casing and peripherals and packing for resale or disposal.

Further services include managing the sale, or donation to a selected charity, and the installation, configuration and set up of new equipment.

Consulting - As well as network consulting, WCT also provides Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery studies and implementation, security auditing, IT hardware and software Auditing, and IT Office move services

 

 

 

Full Outsourcing - full time staff are suconded to our client to provide IT services, as if the clients staff. The benefit being that they fall under WCT’s payroll and we provide back up staff in the event that the appointed engineer falls sick, or goes on leave. In addition, our engineers have a pool of colleagues at our head office, to refer to where they need technical or management advise.

Other staff assist in performing maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis, ensuring that preventative maintenance is performed.

In addition, other services may be added to the agreement, for example, offsite backup, Disaster Recovery, help desk and access to other resources during project implementation.

WCT’s corporate services are designed to supply organisations with a total facility management solution or to complement the existing structure in place.

Of the organisations we work with WCT either takes care of the whole IT requirement following their individual corporate policy and regulations, or work with the existing IT staff to fulfill both menial, but time consuming and crucial actions like Preventative Maintenance or more technical and skilled projects like full turnkey LAN and WAN installations or development of DRC and Business Continuity Plans.

Consulting :

IT Auditing and Asset Management

  • An audit of systems in place is performed along with an evaluation report with recommendations.
  • A full electronic and manual analysis of hardware is performed along with our recommendations and justifications on any changes required.
  • A full electronic capture of software is performed along with a report detailing what software is where, the versions, quantities and license numbers. This information is then compared with licenses in hand to show what is legal, illegal or needs to be purchased. Assistance on the processes of managing software licenses is provided.

Security Auditing

  • A full analysis of both the network and client security is performed and an evaluation report with recommendations is developed.

Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Continuity Planning

  • A full Business continuity risk analysis and assessment is performed, with recommended solutions, all which form a comprehensive action plan which would protect an organisation’s continuity of business in the event of a disaster.

Project Services :

IT Office Move Management

  • All equipment is fully audited prior to the move and system maintenance is performed and all data is protected. Once the hardware is delivered to the new site, all equipment is installed and the systems recovered to the original status. A full report is provided confirming the status of the equipment and the reinstallation of the systems.

Project Management

  • IT and telecoms project management services are provided, where the project is planned, implemented and controlled by WCT. With WCT’s experience of working with different contractors WCT will produce bid documents to bring in different services from reputable organizations to perform their specialised duties. 

Maintenance Services:

Corporate Facility Management and  Preventative Maintenance Programs

  • The services provided vary to suite the requirement of the client from full facility management where staff are provided on a full time basis, to an on call service combined with preventative maintenance schedules.

Hardware and software Preventative Maintenance

  • One time services for full preventative maintenance of hardware and or software. The programs are designed to allow organisations with their own IT staff more time to deal with troubleshooting and development/management issues than perform hardware cleaning, and optimization, and software management and optomisation.
  • Services are performed at single or multiple site.
