Company  History / Overview

WCT was founded by Andrew Sloan  in 1996 to provide printer maintenance services, supply computer hardware and printer supplies. This quickly developed into IT service supply and computer production and naturally progressed into system integration and design.

WCT has continued to grow in spite of harsh economic conditions and kept abreast with the latest technologic developments, be it Internet, Telecoms, Software and Hardware.

WCT has met the challenge by recruiting dedicated engineers who have a passion for this industry and their company. We prides ourself on our friendly and efficient service, which is sometimes lacking in larger organizations.

Through the years, WCT has forged alliances with a variety of quality IT hardware and software suppliers such as Dell, IBM, Compaq, Microsoft, Lotus Notes, Ultrabac,  Sophos, etc. We have extended into telecom services, structured cabling and in-house Help Desk and network management services, over the years, proving ourselves in each area within the market place. We are therefore able to offer the customer the right product, at the right price, and remain totally impartial on the recommendations we make. This allows a turnkey service that fits the needs of our clients, ensuring a long term relationship, rather than a short term outlook.

Our extended range of products and services allow us to provide a wide range of services, some of a basic nature, and some with specialist qualifications and certification  required. Such examples would be cabling, Disaster Recovery (DRC) and business continuity services, system integration, to name but a few.

More recently, WCT has built a network of similar organisations as ourselves around Asia. This partnership allows us and our partners to offer a more regional coverage to our clients while retaining central control, while also being able to trust in our partners to provide an equally excellent service as we do to our clients.

WCT’s attitude has always been to work with our clients rather than for. This in combination with looking at working on a long term relationship rather tan short term has proven to be a winning and a mutually beneficial arrangement, ensuring a pro active and communicative relationship that ensures success for all stakeholders.
